Cameron, AKA GreenTree Keys and the force behind GreenTree Music, was born in a quiet section of the Bronx. He began his path in music studying classical piano at five years old. Playing both piano and drum set throughout his school years, he spent time studying the organ (tone-wheel and pipe), the harpsichord, as well as Brazilian and Latin percussion. His musical interests from a young age ranged from jazz to rock, latin to hip-hop, and he’s developed a special relationship with ska and reggae music. Cameron has performed in over 35 countries, including extensive tours throughout five of the Earth’s seven continents.

Prior to beginning a 5-year stint touring and recording with the legendary Skatalites band, Cameron released his debut record as an artist, titled “Cameron & the Trenton Street Collaborative”. The 5-track EP was released on the roots-reggae label Naya Records.

In 2022, he released “Born a Rastaman”, a contemporary reggae cover of the Dickie Betts classic “Ramblin’ Man”, featuring Johnny Dread on vocals. His latest next single, “Monkey Move” dropped in December of 2023, and features Toussaint the Liberator. As member of the Naya Rockers reggae band, based in Boston, Cameron is the featured keyboardist and a co-writer on the "Higher Education" LP, being released in 2025 on Naya Records and in association with Floki Studios.

When he’s not on the road performing, Cameron spends his time in the studio, on his sailboat s/v Anbessa, and traveling as much as possible.

Devoted to his spirituality and ‘livity’- or conscious living- Cameron believes deeply in living a well-balanced life. Rastafari has been his spiritual calling from his earliest recollections.

Cameron is also a licensed boat captain, a certified marine diesel technician, and considers sailing, surfing, scuba and gardening among his other passions.
